Poppy appeal Respect the Poppy & Royal Family Supporting the remembrance poppy, its meaning and significance through history and always keep it a national symbol of peace and regrowth (we are not RBL)

A Page to show respect to our military by fighting to keep the poppy as a national flower of remembrance. We want to protect the future of the poppy. We need the support of all our nation, there has been a lot of disrespect shown not only to our poppy but to the men and women who are fighting for our freedom. We are proud of our military and also of the poppy as it is a mark of respect for those w

ho have lost their lives and for those who still fight for our queen and country. Please support us in our mission to keep the poppy in Britain as a sacred flower of remembrance - 'Lest we Forget'

Friends of the page Isobel and Paul Peabody, Shaun Bush’s loving aunty and uncle, proudly represented him in the bereaved families’ procession at the Royal Albert Hall for the Remembrance service with His Majesty the King.

Their presence honoured the courage, sacrifice, and memory of Fusilier Shaun Bush, standing on behalf of the family with love, pride, and everlasting respect.

Below is a short poem for Bushy by our admin team 💙

For Fusilier Shaun Bush

Born and bred in Stoke Aldermoor and forever remembered.

In fields of dust and distant flame,
He stood for peace, he bore the name
Of honour, courage, steadfast truth
Our hero, Fusilier Shaun Bush.

Afghanistan’s cruel August sky
Could never dim his spirit high;
Though wounded, brave, his heart held strong,
Ten days more, his fight lived on.

From Selly Oak, where angels tread,
We whispered love beside his bed;
And though his soul took flight too soon,
It rose beyond the blood and wound.

Stoke Aldermoor still speaks his name,
Each street remembers why he came
Not for glory, not for fame,
But love of home — his guiding flame.

Now poppies bloom where sorrow lies,
And through the years, his memory flies;
A soldier, nephew, son so true
Shaun, our hearts march on with you.
