Amazing to work with to deliver the Anti Knife Virtual Decisions workshop.

Amazing space provided and all young people that attened were honest, open and shared experiences and opinions throughout 🙌🏽 💭

What each group came to at the end is that everyone is affected by Knife crime and what follows after an incident whether that is directly or indirectly..

They also said that there is never a safe scenario when carrying a knife.

We looked at current issues, whys, impact, consequences to decisions and where support can be gained 💚

We opened conversations around Willenhall and what they want from the youth club ams hopefully by the end we can support them to change the things they don't like about Willenhall.

Giving young people a safe space, to try new activites, speak with mentors and have a voice is everything we want⚽️🏒🎨👩🏼‍🍳

What a story and what a pathway 🙌🏽💚

“I started at Empowr‑U when I was 14… and honestly, I was struggling. I was quiet, I kept to myself, and my confidence was low. Mentally, I didn’t think I had much to offer.” 🧠

“But something changed when I stepped into that first session. The team saw something in me before I ever did. Slowly, I opened up. I kept showing up. I joined more sessions. I laughed again. I found my voice.” 🗣

“Over the years, I went from participant ➡️ volunteer ➡️ apprentice ➡️ and now… I’m proud to say I’m one of Empowr‑U’s Lead Coaches. 🙌 It’s more than a job, now I’m helping others who feel like I once did. And there’s no better feeling.”

“To any young person out there who feels stuck, lost or unsure of yourself — I’ve been there. And you can come through it. Just take that first step.”

🌳⚽ Sport in the Park – Bringing the Community Together 🏀🏏

This summer we’ve seen incredible energy and smiles in the park through our open sports sessions! 💪🏽✨

Here’s what local parents and residents had to say:

🎯 Every Move Matters

This week, during a 1:1 mentoring session, we started with a simple game of Connect 4.

At first glance, it’s just a bit of fun. But very quickly, it became a lesson:

🟢The move I make impacts the move you make.

⚫️The move you make shapes what happens next.

⚪️Each decision can lead to a win or a loss.

We used this to reflect on real life. Every action, every word, has consequences - for ourselves and for others. Sometimes positive, sometimes negative. That’s why stopping to think before making your next “move” is so important.

🟢 Just like in the game, being intentional, strategic, and aware can change the outcome.

This simple activity sparked some powerful conversations about choices, consequences, and self-awareness.

💡 Sometimes the biggest lessons come from the smallest moments.
