A little update about our Forest School site

For a number of reasons, we have made the difficult decision to leave our Forest School site at Nettle Hill. Our sessions will come to an end after October Half Term. We are disappointed to share this news and we have loved welcoming you all!

We are already looking into alternative sites and exploring our options for the future. We are determined to find a way to bring our Forest School sessions back, and we will keep you updated as soon as we have more news to share.

Our final sessions at Nettle Hill will be:
Thursday 15th October (Final Early Years Group)
Monday 20th October (Final Home Education Group)
Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th (Final Holiday Sessions)

We would also like to say a big thank you for the support we received from parents, families, companies and the wider community after the vandalisation. The equipment and donations we received will play a huge part in building us a new safe site to bring you all the sessions you love!

Thank you all so much for being a part of Ladybug Lodge Forest School 🌰🌲

A huge thank you to Solene, Karen, Tom, Graham, Jonathan & Stuart from Premier Foods for volunteering with us today at our Forest School Site!

Between them they have:
- Pulled up all the stinging nettles
- Painted a fence & Halloween Props
- Cleaned out the mud kitchen & all the equipment
- Raked and tidied!

They put in an incredible effort considering we battled the rain throughout the day and were all impressed with Lucys cooking skills for their lunch time jacket potato!

Thank you to Neighbourly & Premier Food 🙌🏼🤍
