Media Mania Media Mania is a Coventry based community driven Youth Music organisation

Media Mania is a multimedia organisation that specialises in engaging projects across communities working with special interest groups. The company is made up of a group of talented individuals involved in working in the creative industries. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience working with young people and communities. Our Mission:
To work with and support youth and community organisations in ways that empower them through the use of sound, visuals and music to engage and inform children and young people, and add value to their lives.

We’re running a new Audio-Visual Workshop at Powerhouse Studios this November 🎛️

Over four weeks, you’ll get to explore working with sound and visuals, with everything leading up to a live performance at the end of the programme.

Ross and Will will be running the sessions, and we’re keeping the group small with just 5–6 spaces available.

It’s completely free, but you’ll need to book your place in advance.

Dave caught a bit of Tuesday’s Open Jam on camera, and we had to share it 📹

Always good to hear what happens when this lot get playing together. We only filmed a snippet, but it gives you a feel for what goes on here.

If you play an instrument, or want to learn to... come down! We’d love to have you join us. You don’t have to bring a whole band with you, so come on your own or bring a mate!

Open Jam runs every Tuesday at 6pm-8pm. Join us at Powerhouse Studios - ages 14-25.

From Cov to Vienna! 🎶

Our Creative Director, Dave, was at Waves Vienna last week, making some brilliant contacts to bring back home.

Across three days, over 100 acts performed in venues around the city, with conference panels and workshops bringing together people from across the European music industry.

Dave was invited to join a feedback panel too, listening to new work from talented artists and sharing his thoughts on their music.

“What an amazing opportunity and experience Waves Vienna was!” says Dave. “From the opening block party right through to the final night.”

After a short break, we’re back at Media Mania this Tuesday (8th Sept) from 6–8pm.

Come down, grab an instrument, play with other people or just see what’s going on. 

It’s free, it’s open to 14–25 year olds and you can just turn up.
