Providing food in emergencies where it is needed the most to save the lives of victims of natural disasters, wars and civil conflicts. We work collaboratively with organisations, governments and charities to ensure every man, woman and child

has access to nourishing food for an active and healthy life.

‘Langar’ is a term used to describe a free kitchen where food is provided to all people, regardless of background, ethnicity, religious beliefs, gender or social status.

With the recent UK heatwave, staying hydrated is more important than ever ☀️💧

Langar Aid is continuing to support the Maternity Waiting Area at the NHS City of Coventry Health Centre by providing bottled water for expectant mothers and families during their hospital visits.

Following a request from hospital staff, we have already donated over 200 bottles of water to help mums and their loved ones stay comfortable and refreshed during the warm weather and this support is continuing.

Supporting mothers, newborns, and the wider community remains at the heart of Langar Aid’s mission ❤️

Please continue supporting Langar Aid so we can keep making a difference:

At Langar Aid, partnership in action makes real impact 💛

Together with Brakes we receive fresh produce that helps us prepare and distribute nutritious food across our community.

Some of it is cooked and served hot at our soup kitchen, while the rest is distributed to families and individuals in need, ensuring nothing goes to waste and everything goes to someone who needs it.

From fresh delivery to hot meals served with love, this is seva in action.

Thanks to your generous donations, Langar Aid proudly supports breakfast clubs across the West Midlands 💛

Every contribution helps provide essential food for children at the start of their school day, making sure no child begins their morning hungry.

Together, we’re building stronger communities through seva, care, and compassion.

Mental Health Awareness Week 🧠💚

This week we’re sharing the voices of our incredible volunteers who explain how giving back supports their mental health too.

Volunteering isn’t just about helping others, it can bring purpose, connection, confidence and community.

A simple act of kindness can change someone else’s day… and your own.

Let’s care, support and uplift each other 💛
