It was great to be back at Haybridge High School and Sixth Form School in Hagley! πŸ™Œ

Our team delivered two assemblies, sharing Langar Aid's global missions and the humanitarian work we carry out around the world, inspired by Sikh values of seva (selfless service), equality, and compassion.

A huge thank you to the staff and students for such a warm welcome and for engaging with our message. It's always a pleasure to return and inspire the next generation to make a positive difference.

πŸ’™ Together, we can all play a part in helping others.

πŸŒπŸ“ World Environment Day 2026 πŸ“πŸŒ

These beautiful strawberries were grown on our allotment with care, patience, and respect for nature.

At LangarAid, we believe that caring for the environment and feeding humanity go hand in hand. Every fruit, vegetable, and meal grown sustainably helps create a healthier planet and stronger communities.

From seed to harvest, our allotment reminds us that small actions can make a big difference. By growing local produce, reducing waste, and sharing food with those who need it most, we can help build a greener and kinder future.

πŸ’š Care for the Earth.
πŸ’š Care for each other.
πŸ’š Feed humanity.

Happy World Environment Day – 5 June 2026.

🌟 Volunteer Week Celebration 🌟

This Volunteer Week, we celebrate the incredible people who make seva come alive.

Our volunteers are often seen on the front lines, serving meals, supporting events, and giving their time to help others. But beyond the service itself, something even more special is created: a family.

People from all walks of life come together through seva, united by a shared purpose to serve our community. Along the way, friendships are formed, laughter is shared, memories are made, and lasting relationships grow.

This video captures not only the impact of our volunteers' dedication, but also the joy, connection, and sense of belonging that comes from serving together.

To every volunteer who gives their time, energy, and heart, thank you. Your service strengthens our community and inspires us all.

❀️ Together in seva. Together in service. Together as one community.
