Please pray for St Martin’s Sharjah: Pray for migrant labourers who suffer during the heat of the summer in challenging living and social situations. We give thanks to our ongoing ministry to them in English, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Punjabi, and various other languages.

Bush Church Aid: For Greg Harris as he travels to various Field Staff locations across Australia this month, for safety and good and fruitful conversations.

Please pray for St Matthew's Addis Ababa: For the Lord to provide for us financially, including sufficient giving for a new Rector’s stipend; for practical progress in permits, bids etc for a new church roof; and for the old one to hold out for one last wet season.

Please pray for St George’s Tunis, Tunisia: For Revd Frank Bernardi as he leads this growing congregation.

Christ the King Tripoli, Libya: For the ministry of Revd Crimson Jebakumar, and for safety for church members.

All Saints Cathedral Cairo: Pray for the church and the diocese in Cairo; we would love to see Christians from all nations loving Christ and serving together. Please pray also for our close family: one daughter is already in Egypt, another is going to South Sudan in October, and our son and family are visiting later in the year.

Holy Trinity Algiers: Ask the Lord to keep Elaine and Craig in good health in body, mind and spirit and as they go on holiday, ask the Lord to bless this time with relaxation to equip them for the tasks ahead. May the Lord give us vision and wisdom to know how to put our development plan into practice, particularly the overdue development of the Holy Trinity church compound which has not had much done to it since 1907 when it was first built, and which suffered a major earthquake a few years ago. Pray also for the continued growth of HTA, from small beginnings when we arrived in 2024, and attendance was between 25-30 adults and 5 children, now we regularly have at least 120 adults and 15 children; this brings with it challenges of growth. May we know how to respond so that God’s Church may continue to grow. On 1 October we will hold our Harvest celebrations which is linked to our annual ‘free will’ offering where people can give, over and above their tithe. As a church we support the work of the Christian healthcare charity Leprosy Mission, and we give them 10%. Pray that the Lord will release the resources we need to do His work in Algeria.

Please pray for St John the Evangelist Alsancak & St Mary Magdalene Bornova (Izmir) and St Mary’s Didim: Please pray for the congregation at St Mary’s Didim during these summer weeks when there are many holidaymakers and short-term residents in Didim, alongside the permanent expatriate community. (Didim is a seaside resort 100 miles south of Izmir on the Aegean coast.)

Please pray for Holy Trinity Corfu: This month we usually close during the week to give all the hard workers a break especially during the intense heat and when the island welcomes lots of visitors. Pray for all those who are tired; may they get rest and enjoyment.

Please pray for St Andrew’s Puerto Pollensa: We are grateful when couples chose to have a religious element to their wedding blessing or renewal of vows, please pray for couples recognising God’s presence in their union and our hope to extend the church’s occasional offices with those commemorating important life events.

English-speaking Church on Ibiza and Formentera: ‘Coffee & Chat’ was started in 2019 by locum couple, Tony and Pat, who wanted to meet more of our church members. It is a weekly Wednesday morning get-together, open for all. Interviews for a new chaplain were held on 28 July, please pray for this process. We thank God that we have locums booked right through until October.

Please pray for St George's Barcelona and Andorra: This is a month when people leave Barcelona, particularly as the summers get warmer,and often our congregation has more visitors than our own members. This is a tremendous opportunity for a different type of service.

Please pray for Aquitaine: For the congregations of Chancelade, Négrondes and Bertric Burée. We give thanks for the many people who give of their time, talents and giving to resource our vast chaplaincy. We pray for wise stewardship of what God has given to us and how best to grow our mission.

Holy Trinity Cannes: For our Sundays this month as we spend ‘Summer in the Psalms’; may this series of talks point us to praise and offer comfort as we navigate the joys and sorrows of our Christian life together. Pray for those for whom the summer can be a lonely time with less going on in the week.
