Intercontinental Church Society ICS

Intercontinental Church Society ICS ICS is an international Church of England mission agency to English-speakers globally

ICS is an international Church of England mission agency: we make known the good news of Jesus Christ to people who speak English, who find themselves living, studying, working or holidaying away from home in countries where English is not the main language. In continental Europe ICS's ministry also touches the lives of increasing numbers of Europeans who speak English. We are also an Anglican pat

ronage society, recruiting ministers to serve in many of the international Anglican churches we partner, and whose buildings we often own. We work mainly in continental Europe and around the Mediterranean and are funded entirely by donations from individuals, churches and trusts that share our aims. Information about projects we support, papers and mission-related topics can be found at http://www.ics-uk.org. If you have any questions or for information about local supporters/prayer meetings call the ICS office, or if you would like someone to speak at your church or group about ICS why not invite your area representative?

Please pray for the Spirit of insight, wisdom, and clarity so that our newly elected church council members and churchwardens can further the church’s work.

Please pray for St Martha and St Mary’s Anglican Church Leuven: June is exam time in Leuven. Pray that those who are stressed, experience God’s love and find the focus, energy and strength they need. For plans for our worship and community over the summer, when many leaders are away. For all those taking exams this month. Some folk are finding this season very hard, pray that God would come through for them. For our new Council as they meet for the first time (18).

St Paul's Tervuren: Later this month (26-28), we will hold our church camping weekend away in Wallonia, please pray for many to come to meet for warm fellowship, a real sense of community and togetherness that helps our church grow.

Please pray for All Saints Amersfoort: Tomorrow our youth will attend a National Youth Day (EO dag), please pray for them and for our youth worker, Hanna, as she begins planning for the new season (from September) of our youth discipleship programme (YETI – youth, equipping, transforming, instructing). There is much to be grateful for at All Saints, thank God with us for the baptism service at which three people were baptised. The week after five people were confirmed. Pray with us that God will be a shield around them and give them boldness to live their lives as witnesses to who he is. We thank God for the teenage camp that took place in May. Twenty-one teenagers spent time together to learn more about who they are in Christ, and what that means for their day-to-day lives. Thank God with us for Revd Grant and his family, for the newly elected wardens and council, and all the volunteers faithfully serving in many different ways.

Arnhem and Nijmegen: We pray for those students and young professionals who will leave as their time with us comes to an end. That the Lord will bless their journeys and that they will find a good new church home wherever they will go.
