Next weekend the amazing Holyhead Pub will be hosting HolyFEST 2025 and money raised will be donated to Archie's Smile!

If you don’t have any plans and want to enjoy local music, food and some amazing stalls get yourself to the Holyhead for what looks like a fab weekend.

Today was our last stay and play session before the summer holidays but it’s not goodbye as there are lots of meets ups planned for our families over the summer.

Today our families and children attended our teddy bears picnic themed session and enjoyed lots of yummy treats. We also celebrated a birthday and said goodbye to one of our members who is starting primary school in September!!

We wish them the very best of luck and know they will thrive at school ✏️📕

How beautiful is Delilah 😍

Delilah was a regular at Archie’s smile until she started school a few years ago. We still see her at group events and her family are still very much involved in supporting Archie’s Smile. We love seeing her continue to grow and hear her beautiful voice 🎶

We are very proud and pleased to announce that we have made the finals of the BBC Coventry & Warwickshire make a difference awards for the community group! We are very passionate about what we do and the amazing children in our community drive us on to make a difference in the world for them. This is for all the amazing adults and children with Down syndrome who make this world extra special 💙💛

I am very proud to announce that 11 years ago, we as a family, inspired by our beautiful Archie, started a support group to help other families try & change people’s perception on ‘the life of a child with Down syndrome ‘. We are slowly getting there but still have a lot of work to do. At present we have 15 families attend with some amazing children who in their own time achieve amazing things. Our families support each other through this different but exciting journey and we are proud of everyone of them. 11 years later I would like to announce that we have just been given Charitable Status to enable us to do better things for our families to give all of our children the support they deserve, mainly being Speech & Language therapy weekly from an early age to prepare them for nursery & school . If anyone would like to nominate us for funding, please contact me as we now have a Charity number. If you would like to know more of what we do then contact me to arrange a visit to the group so you can meet our families. Let’s join together to Change the World for our children . Thank you Archie for helping us to make this happen. We love you & never change. 💙💛❤️

A huge thank you to all that attended our very first Christmas fayre! We were overwhelmed with the amount of people that came to the event to support us. We’ve had some great feedback about our stalls, the food and Santa so we know you all had fun.

It gives me great pleasure to tell you all that SO FAR we have raised a huge £1232.65p and there is still time to raise more as we still have raffle tickets for sale before our children do the draw this Thursday. If you’re interested in buying some raffle tickets please message us.

Just over 2 weeks to go. Free entry. Why not pop in. We have lots going on & Santa will be waiting to say hello.

It’s nearly the most wonderful time of the year and Archies Smile Support Group are holding a Christmas Charity Fayre. Pop the date in your diary and come along. All money raised goes straight to supporting children with Down syndrome in Coventry and surrounding areas. Entry is free.
