It's Fundraiser Friday, the day when we shine a light on some of our amazing supporters.

Today we're celebrating Ben Letschka, who, in a few short weeks, will attempt a gruelling 50km mountain run through the Julian Alps in Slovenia. Ben, who's a serving firefighter, is taking on this epic challenge in honour of his father, Julian, who worked in the ambulance service for two decades before passing away from Covid-19.

Ben is using this challenge to raise vital funds for TASC and Fire Fighters Charity.

We welcome the publication of new sector-wide data and the Association of Ambulance Chief Executive's continued commitment to tackling sexual safety issues. But behind every statistic is a person.

Through our work, we hear first-hand about the impact of sexual safety issues — including people feeling dismissed or unsupported when they speak up. Cultural change must reach every level of an organisation. Read our full response here: https://ow.ly/y8AT50ZBUCo

TASC’s independent and confidential Sexual Safety Support Service provides a safe space to talk for ambulance staff and student paramedics affected by all forms of sexual violence. Visit our website to learn more: https://ow.ly/kZMK50ZBUCn

On World Photography Day, we’re reminded of the power a photograph has to preserve a memory. These photos are from the last National Ambulance Memorial Service, which we hold every year to remember and honour the members of our ambulance family who have passed away.

The next memorial service is taking place on Thursday, 17th September 2026. Visit our website to learn more and book your place: https://ow.ly/lKu850ZyRCT

Huge congratulations to Sirens and Suffering, who completed a 15k Tough Mudder over the weekend!

Mark, Georgina, Geraint, James, Josie and Tania are all from Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust, and their challenge has raised over £410 for our cause, which could provide their colleagues with 22 hours of support from a TASC money advisor. Thank you to the entire team and everyone who supported them - it looks like everyone had an absolutely brilliant time!

We've had another message of thanks on our gratitude page, this time for Ben from at Officialwmas.

A simple thank you can make someone's day, so if you've been supported by our ambulance staff recently, why not take a couple of minutes to post a gratitude on TASC's website? 👉 https://www.theasc.org.uk/gratitudes/

It's Fundraiser Friday, the day where we celebrate the amazing people who support our work.

Today we're celebrating James from Officialwmas who will be attempting to climb Snowdon this weekend as part of his ongoing challenge to raise funds for TASC and The Little Princess Trust. Good luck, James (and his colleagues he's roped in to join him!)

Please help support James by sharing this post, and if you can, make a donation towards his challenge: https://ow.ly/PVPO50ZwwFj
