This past week marks 7 years since these two took the reins at Paines Plough.

Since then, they’ve co-founded the Women’s Prize for Playwriting with Ellie Keel, oversaw a multi-year writer development programme that has developed over 400 writers in 7 regions, and directed tours of After Party by Morna Young, Shanghai Dolls by Amy Ng, Ordinary Decent Criminal by Ed Edwards, Consumed by Karis Kelly, You Bury Me by Ahlam, Reasons You Should(n’t) Love Me by Amy Trigg, Hungry by Chris Bush, Really Big and Really Loud by Phoebe Eclair-Powell, Run Sister Run by Chloë Moss, co-directing Black Love with Chinonyerem Odimba, as well as the award-winning UK and US transfers of My Mother’s Funeral: The Show by Kelly Jones and Strategic Love Play by Miriam Battye, with the new plays we have produced or programmed along the way reaching hundreds of thousands of people across the country… and beyond.
