WEC UK and Ireland We take the good news of Jesus to the nations! WEC is part of a worldwide movement of people from many nations and cultures.

We are committed to finding new, creative and culturally-relevant ways of doing ministry. WEC International takes the good news to the peoples and nations who have yet to hear it: the good news that Christ came to bring forgiveness of sins and peace with God, and to displace hatred with love. Listening to, serving and walking alongside local people, we form disciples, expecting to see churches flo

urish in cultures where Christ is little known. This involves us in many diverse activities, as fits local needs, including: youth work, teaching, medical work, music and the arts, Bible translation and literacy, work with addicts and children in crisis, business skills and helping local Christians share the gospel cross-culturally. "If you are reading this and considering a short-term trip, don’t let any practical worries hold you back."

During her time serving with WEC in Alsace, Nicole spent two-and-a-half days a week learning French, and the rest of the week making videos for social media and joining in with events for students and refugees.

She shares her experiences:

"I loved having conversations about faith with students, finding out more about what they believe and answering questions about my faith in return. Sharing in my new friends’ cultures was definitely a highlight. I never before imagined I would have friends of so many different nationalities!"

Anna went to Thailand to use her teaching skills – but found it was also a powerful experience of God teaching her 🙌

"One of the best things about being here has been learning about a different culture. The Thai culture is beautiful and the people are so humble and servant-hearted.

"I have also loved meeting people from other backgrounds. Each person has incredible stories of what God has done in and through their lives, and this has encouraged me in my own relationship with God."
