The RSPCA Coventry and District Branch is an independant branch of the National RSPCA which receives no funding from the lottery or government. The Branch which is run by volunteers elected each year runs the Coventry & District animal centre on Coundon Wedge Drive in Coventry. The Branch currently has four charity shops in Coventry to help cover the massive running costs of the branch. We need your support in finding new homes for animals, raising money to pay for the care and educating others in responsible pet ownership.

Food Appeal🎀
We are still in the midst of a crazy kitten season with lots of hungry tummy’s to feed!
The average kitten needs around 4-5 pouches of food per day which means we are going through a minimum of 250 pouches of kitten food every single day. As you can imagine this can be quite an expense to the centre so anyone willing to donate or even sharing this post is so appreciated💗
We are always so grateful for any support we receive from you all and so are our animals!
Our donation bins are located in the car park at our centre accessible 24/7🌸

Apparently, our animal welfare centre has been nominated for an award.

Happy Adoptober 🍂 Meet some of our more overlooked animals who are on the hunt for their forever home! We often struggle to rehome black or black & white cats, larger dog breeds or more nervous animals. This can be due to them having more specific requirements to match their needs but we they all have so much love to give and could make such lovely companions once settled⭐

Two big THANK YOUs this week for Coop Coventry NDC and Coventry House Project 🙏

The Coop Coventry NDC donated much needed pet food to us and Coventry House Project held a bake sale with proceeds split between ourselves and Glaucoma UK

Animals and humans at the centre are very much in appreciation ❤🐾

🎉 WE'VE BEEN NOMINATED! 🎉

Over the moon to find out that we've been nominated in the My Local Awards in the West Midlands.

Thank you to whoever nominated us for Animal Welfare Centre of the Year 🐾 We really appreciate it.

Congratulations to all the other well-deserving nominees. In times like this, raising awareness of charities is incredibly important.

Now, we'd love to ask for everyone to help us win! If you can spare a few seconds and vote for us at: https://mylocalawards.co.uk/businesses/rspca-coventry-and-district/?award=animal-rescue-centre-of-the-year

Moggie Monday💕 We are looking for fosterers for some of our adult cats at the moment! Ideally people with no other animals so that they can freely roam the house🐈 Foster homes are so beneficial for adult cats that may be with us for a while due to medical issues, being part of a court case, nervousness or just not having much luck getting applications...

Benefits for them:
🐾 Reduces stress of being in a kennel or pod aiding their mental state.
🐾 They get constant mental and physical stimulation.
🐾 You are constantly socialising them and introducing them to new things that they wouldn’t here! Even things like the hoover or the washing machine.
🐾 They get a temporary loving family until they find their forever home.

Benefits for you:
🐾 Experiencing joys of an animal without the life time commitment.
🐾 All vet care, food, equipment, advice and support will be provided for you!
🐾 You get to see the animals grow, recover, progress and learn new skills ready for their forever home.
🐾 Knowing you have helped 2 animals - the one you are fostering and the one you who can now have their space at the centre!

If you are interested in fostering, please contact us below⭐️
