🌱 THE JEWELS ALLOTMENT JOURNEY

Chapter 1 – It Started with a Vision

Every journey has a beginning, and this is ours.

The idea for The Jewels Allotment was born during one of our meetings at Pathways Family Hub. We wanted to create something that would bring women together in a welcoming outdoor spaceβ€”a place to connect, learn new skills, enjoy nature and build lasting friendships.

Soon afterwards, I visited an allotment.

To many, it was simply a piece of land with long grass, empty beds and plenty of work ahead.

But I saw possibility.

I imagined a place where women could one day meet, grow fresh vegetables, share experiences, support one another and enjoy the simple pleasure of watching something grow.

I shared these first photographs with The Jewels, and the vision began to take shape.

This is the true story of The Jewels Allotmentβ€”told as it happened.

One step.
One seed.
One chapter at a time.

🌱 Would you like to be part of our journey?

Whether you enjoy gardening, would like to learn, or simply want to spend time outdoors in friendly company, we would love to hear from you.

The empty chair speaks louder than words.

In this episode of Healing the Hidden Wounds, we talk about what happens when life pauses after loss β€” when grief sits at the table with us.

If you or someone you love is navigating loss, this message is for you.

In this episode, we reflect on the pain of absence β€” the empty chair at the table, the silence that follows loss, and how we walk with families through grief...
