This Navratri, let’s come together in the spirit of sewa (selfless service) and support school children and families in need across Coventry. 🙏🏽

We are collecting non-perishable, strictly vegetarian food items from 11th–20th October, including rice, pasta, cereal, tins, long-life milk, flour, biscuits and more.

📍 Drop off points:
• Shree Krishna Temple, Harnall Lane W
• Harp Place, Sandy Lane

Donations will be distributed to families in need during the October Half Term.

July Summer Campaign Update

This July, SewaDay Coventry delivered 77 food hampers to 8 schools, helping to provide around 1,500 meals for children and families during the summer holidays🥫🍎

None of this would be possible without the incredible generosity of our supporters, donors, and local community. From the very beginning, you’ve helped us ensure that families have extra support when school is out. Thank you for believing in our mission. 💙

A heartfelt thank you to Rashmi Manjunatha and Non P Manjunatha for their generous donations through the VSUK Friends group (VSUK), which is itself a wonderful charitable organization.

This organization conducts Sewa Day events twice a year. This year’s event was held in Warwick on 18th April 2026, where members of VSUK generously donated food items and daily essentials. These donations were collected by Sewa Day volunteers and will be distributed to underprivileged children in Coventry during the school holidays.

We are deeply grateful to all the members who contributed so generously and supported this meaningful initiative. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference in the lives of many children and families. 🙏

On Sunday 22nd March, Sewaday Coventry continued supporting Coventry schools by preparing food hampers for families in need during the period when free school meals are unavailable.

For this Easter campaign, we were grateful to be supported by , who raised generous donations to help make this possible. Thank you for your continued support.

Around 20 volunteers joined us, including some amazing young helpers aged 7–9 who spent their time packing hampers and learning the importance of giving back to the community.

Together, we prepared 67 food hampers, which were delivered to 7 schools across Coventry.

A huge thank you to all our volunteers, supporters and donors who continue to help us support our city 💙
