Hope you're all having a great weekend and enjoyed half term!

Due to a number of people, myself included going to the Coventry City game on Tuesday night there will be no academy this week.

It will be back on as usual Tuesday 11th.

See you then!

What a great day at our Greenzone Competition and thank you to those from the academy that entered.

I'm so pleased and proud to say that the Winner was our very own Jack Richardson talking part in his first ever darts competition.

Finishing top of 28 players is an amazing achievement and the smile on his face was a joy to behold.

In the plate competition Keira Meek (Hannah's sister) did brilliant as well reaching the final.

I'm proud of all our other students that took part too in Archie Gale, Archie Cave, Bailey Ward & Alfie Dunn.
(I don't think I've missed anyone have I?)

Many thanks to Paddy from Emmerdale presenting the prizes and running it so well.

The Academy continues to go from strength to strength and we now have 51 students coming on a regular basis all having a great time and most wanting to do grading so it was great to have the help tonight of parents Shane Cave & Paul Day.

We have 13 boards and they were all buzzing with different games, fun and grading on them.

Our coaches/mentors Paul, Jenson & Hannah plus our Assistant Academy Director Jackie also have their hands full and work wonders with the students.

It is now my favourite day of the week and the atmosphere is so good as we blast my tunes out on the speaker, although the music may not be what the kids want but who cares about them? 🤣

I feel extremely fortunate to have the support of so many wonderful people.

Thanks everyone

Sean.

Just when I thought it couldn't get better for my doubles partner, academy player & coach Jenson Walker he is only appearing on the main stage in the UK Open on ITV4 this Friday afternoon.

So immensely proud.

Just play how you can champ!
