Coventry's first-ever Windrush Festival kicks off today until Monday 22nd June, celebrating the courage, creativity and contribution of the Windrush Generation and their descendants 🎉

The festival will mark Windrush Day through music, art, storytelling and cultural events across the city.

All events are FREE to attend, with activities designed to engage people of all ages and encourage learning about Windrush heritage 💫

The Bank of England are designing the next series of banknotes & need your help 💷

Nature is the theme for the next series of banknote designs & they have a shortlist of animals that could be used as the central image on the £5, £10, £20 and £50 notes.

A combination of acquisitions and strong organic growth across the Midlands has helped a Coventry-based law firm increase revenues by £11m.

Talbots Law, which operates from offices in the Quadrant in the city, saw turnover rise to £41m in 2025.

The Midlands’ first employee-owned law specialist started its expansion with the acquisition of Onions and Davies in Market Drayton and continued with the purchase of Tinsdills Solicitors, a four-office practice headquartered in Stoke-on-Trent.

This move added a £5m turnover business with a strong reputation for outstanding client service, aligning perfectly with the company’s acquisition strategy and its employee ownership values and beliefs.

Talbots also completed the acquisition of Benussi & Co in the final part of its business year, a highly regarded family law practice.

Boasting a strong Birmingham city centre footprint, the specialist firm will continue to run as a standalone brand, but with the added benefit of its clients being able to access a wider suite of legal services from its eye-catching city centre offices at 103 Colmore Row.

Take That are in Coventry, and we’re celebrating their Circus Live tour with some fantastic free entertainment!

From today until 6th June, join us at Coventry Station and Broadgate to enjoy circus performers, stilt walkers, and Coventry’s very own singing talent.

Performances will take place between 12pm and 5.30pm, getting you in the mood for an incredible night with Take That!

Change Grow Live and our service users are incredibly grateful for the generous donation from Moss Brothers which was arranged through Graham from Coventry BID.

As Manager of the Recovery and Community Team, I often see people reach an exciting stage in their recovery journey — they’re feeling more stable, reconnecting with hobbies and interests, spending quality time with family and friends, and beginning to think about returning to work or exploring new opportunities.

One of the biggest barriers people face when preparing for interviews is having suitable clothing. We all know how important first impressions can be and feeling comfortable and confident can make all the difference.

Thanks to this wonderful donation, our service users now have more choice and the chance to attend interviews feeling confident, positive, and ready to put their best foot forward. It’s such a thoughtful gesture that will genuinely help people take those important next steps with pride and self-belief. Thank you again to Moss Brothers for your kindness and support!
