The morning after the night before of the Coventry & Warwickshire Business and Community Awards 2026 A really great night for everyone, I can't say that we're not disappointed about about not winning - massive congratulations to to MES Systems - Fire & Security on taking the award, and also to our fellow finalists Avon Studios Photography, SLT Media, Spencer Gardner Dickins and Warwickshire Lavender Farm - however we at Harp Place Harp place profile are incredibly honoured to have even been nominated.

For a small organisation like ourselves, and the immense challenges that we've gone through to get to this point, this recognition is huge and shows that the work we are doing for the community is going in the right direction. We may not have biggest budget or the best roof, but we have a great team and the greatest spirit and you have now at least heard of us!! 😊

Thanks to everyone for your amazing words of support and encouragement, and to the C&W Chamber of Commerce for the nomination, and we hope to connect with even more of you soon.

Christmas miracles do happen 😊

Michael Batchelor, an amazing local artist, who we’re really honoured to know, doing some amazing things. Please follow him, and support local artists too.

Coincidentally, Martin, featured in this article used to work at Harp place too.

The artwork in Hearsall Common is in honour of a local boy, Dylan, who died in 2023.

Thank you to everyone who attended our RE(FIX), RE(THINK), and RE(CONNECT) event.

Our RE(FIX) crew successfully repaired a broken iron for one of our attendees. In addition, our creative OUT(LET) was kept busy with people upcycling and decorating discarded items, giving them a new lease of life. ♻️

Do you know the signs of heat exhaustion? It can be very easy to overheat in the temperatures we're experiencing in the West Midlands right now and left untreated, can turn to heatstroke which is much more serious.

Common symptoms include:
🥵 a headache
🥵 dizziness and confusion
🥵 loss of appetite
🥵 excessive sweating
🥵 fast breathing
🥵 extreme thirst
🥵 temperature of 38°C or above

Call 111 if you have any of these symptoms for medical advice.

Call 999 if you suspect heatstroke.
