CALLING ALL CRAFTERS! It was lovely to chat to Andrea today. She is part of St George’s church craft group in Barker Butts Lane. They meet on every third Saturday of the month, and are working towards an impressive display of crocheted and knitted poppies in the church during November to mark Remembrance Sunday. A huge thank you goes to our lovely customers who’ve donated LOTS of eggs. We are using them to give local kids a special treat this year. We’ve been able to support our friends at Warwickshire Freemasons, Coventry Riders Action Group, Coventry City Council Foster Care team, Coventry City Council SEND team, Anesis Ministry, Spon End Community Centre and Coundon Primary School, to name just a few. The team at Holyhead Road would like to wish all of our customers and colleagues a happy and peaceful holiday.

TOY APPEAL 2025: Once again we are delighted to support our friends at Coventry Riders Action Group with their Xmas toy run. In December, they’ll be taking them around in a motor bike convoy to lots of kids who need a special treat this Xmas. If you would like to donate a toy, then our community elves have left a toy box at the back of checkouts. Pop them in there and we’ll do the rest. Thank you!
