We’re putting together a 24-hour challenge to keep the punch bag moving for Make A Child Smile Foundation, in conjunction with different gyms around the area

But we’re thinking… why stop at 24 hours? 👀

Would any club or person be interested in joining us and helping us keep the bag moving for even longer than 24 hours? 🔥

And don’t worry — you don’t have to be a boxer, fighter or professional! 🥊

All we’re looking for is people who want to give their time, have a go and help us raise money to make a child smile. ❤️

Even if you can only do a short shift, every minute will help!

🎄🍫 MAKE A CHILD SMILE – CHOCOLATE SELECTION BOX APPEAL 2026 🍫🎄

I know, I know… it’s still summer! ☀️😂 But Christmas will soon come around, and we want to be ready!

Every child deserves something for Christmas. ❤️

This Christmas, we want to make sure that local children who may be struggling still have something special to open on Christmas morning.

We are asking our amazing community to help us by donating chocolate selection boxes for our 2026 Christmas Appeal. 🎁

❤️ Shildon Town Council

Whether you donate one selection box or ten, every single donation will help us Make A Child Smile this Christmas.

We would like to say a very special thank you to Joy for her incredibly generous donation following her mam’s funeral. ❤️

Joy asked for donations in memory of her mam, and the kindness shown by everyone who donated has been truly amazing. Together, you raised over £106 to help local children and families in our community. 🥰

At what must have been a very difficult and emotional time for Joy and her family, it means so much that they chose to turn the love and memories of her mam into something that will make a real difference to local children. 💛

Every single penny will go towards helping us support children who need a little extra help, bringing smiles to their faces and making a difference where it matters most. 🎁🧸😊
