All welcome! On the 2nd Sunday of the month we have a “Praise and Worship” service at St Philip & St James church in Chapmanslade. This a more relaxed service (no bread and wine) where we worship the Lord with hymns and prayers. Do stay for refreshments afterwards 😊

What’s a Benefice service I hear you ask? When there are 5 Sundays in a month we have a “Benefice service” and parishioners from across the Cley Hill Benefice attend a service in one of the churches in the Benefice. Tomorrow at 10am the service will be at Horningsham - which if the weather stays 🥵 will definitely be the “coolest” place to be. Do come and stay for refreshments 😊

THANK YOU to everyone who made yesterday’s May Fayre such a huge success and came along to support the event. Those of you helped, contributed, baked cakes and ran stalls will know Sue Fear. She says “It was lovely to see so many families enjoying themselves. The event would not have been possible without your help but by working together we made it happen. It was great to have the help of the school parents and grow the links with Chapmanslade School.”
The amount raised was an INCREDIBLE £1067!! 🤩

All Welcome! Looking forward to welcoming everyone at our Praise and Worship service tomorrow for Rogation Sunday - what’s that? I hear you ask! It is a church festival to ask for a blessing for the community and its sustenance and in farming villages like ours it’s to ask for God’s blessing for farmers and the agriculture industry 🐄 - from the Latin verb rogare “to ask”. Do stay for refreshments afterwards 😊
