And this is one of the reasons we do what we do. ❤️

Spending time with the dogs, getting to know them and making a difference, however big or small.
This is UKVNWW. Supporting the people who care for animals, sharing our skills and giving a little extra love along the way. 🌍💚

Volunteering in veterinary medicine often involves working with lots of different people. During our recent India trip to Manali Strays we were lucky enough to go on a vaccine drive for Mission Rabies, which meant working with members of the community as well as the Manali Stray’s team. It was a fantastic experience to hear everyone’s stories and see how important it is that organisations like Manali Strays are able to provide veterinary care to these communities. Through UK Vet Nurses Worldwide providing help and teaching to projects like Manali Strays we are able to help the wider community.

The doggos in India showing us how mornings should be done! Having playtime and enrichment is so important for all dogs - one of the things we introduced to the rescue dogs at Manali Strays was toys and playtime. You can see how well it went down!

We’ve never been JUST a vet nurse.

We’re skilled, knowledgeable professionals with so much to offer, and it’s time to show the world what we can do.

From the UK to communities around the world, we’re sharing our skills, supporting local teams, and helping build confidence in veterinary nursing where it’s needed most.

We’re not just there to care for animals. We’re there to share knowledge, work alongside others, and leave skills behind that will make a difference long after we’ve gone.

This International Vet Nurse Day, let’s celebrate what vet nurses can achieve when we’re given the opportunity to show what we’re capable of.

We’ve always been more than just a vet nurse. It’s time the world saw it.

Meet Snow ❄️ a very brave puppy we helped treat at . She arrived during our first week flat and dehydrated with a degloved leg. After wound treatment and some fluids she perked right up and showed us just how much love she has to give! She gave us a scare on our last day Manali Strays and became flat and anorexic, luckily by the time we were flying home she was eating again! This week we had the best update - see the end of video 🥰
