Are you an unpaid Carer living in the north of the county?
North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) are looking to set up a Carers Forum which they would like to invite Carers to attend sharing their experiences which are vital in helping them understand what it is like to be a Carer living in North Northamptonshire.
Carers are invited to join in discussing various topics about caring for a loved one, to include the following:
• Exchanges of information
• Carers informing the commissioning of NNC services
• Reviewing the NNC All Age Carers Strategy
• A place for Carers to feel listened to
They aim to meet quarterly, either face to face, or online using Microsoft Teams, depending on preferences for the format (face to face/online/mix of both).
The Carers Forums will be informal and relaxed, and they hope to set up the first forum for April 2024.
