🌍 North Northamptonshire’s Climate Change Strategy – Shaping a Greener Future! 🌱
The impacts of climate change are already here—flooding, heatwaves, biodiversity loss, and infrastructure challenges. But North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) is taking action!
Together with Electric Places, NNC has developed a Climate Change Strategy that sets out a clear roadmap for a just transition to Net Zero by 2050.

The plan focuses on:
🏡 Sustainable homes & buildings
⚡ Clean energy solutions
🚆 Greener transport options
🌿 Protecting and restoring nature
♻️ Waste reduction and a circular economy
💼 Growing a green economy with local businesses

This strategy was shaped by our communities—from local businesses to schools, residents, and sustainability groups. Now, we must work together to turn this strategy into action!

Please help! We need 100 responses urgently on a Lottery Funding Application that could benefit the North Northants area.

The Lottery Climate Action Fund offers up to £1.5m to help communities take climate action. Lots of partners have come together to flesh out a proposal but we need to make sure it is useful and what people want.
