Right now have the opportunity to submit our own ideas on how the new North Northants council can work to fight against the climate and nature crisis.

This can include everything from tree planting, green travel, community energy and more! The more ideas they receive, the better 🌞🌳

Please submit your ideas before this Thursday so we can all do our bit to help shaper local policy and action in the fight against climate change 🙏

I still find it shocking that Weekly Hall Wood has been threatened with destruction to make way for yet another warehouse park 🤯

This unique and diverse woodland on the edge of Kettering is a treasured community space and a site of ecological importance 🌳🦋🐛

I was there just a few weeks ago and the wood was thriving with wildlife, and was home to some rare fungi (some that I have never seen before)! 🍄🍂

If you haven’t already, please take the time to sign the petition against this needless destruction of woodland and follow their page

Hi all and welcome to those who have joined the group recently 🙌 👋

In light of the new restrictions that will be in place from Thursday the group has taken the decision to postpone the events we had scheduled for the month of November, and likely December too 🥺

Instead, we are focusing our efforts on some big and exciting plans to engage the people of Corby and surrounding areas in local volunteering opportunities for 2021, so please keep your eyes peeled 👀

In the meantime we wanted to shout out local groups that are being catalysts for change and championing all things green 💚
