A blooming wonderful date for the diary: Corbridge Charity Open Gardens 2026 from 1pm to 5pm on Sunday June 21st. This year featuring 17 beautiful gardens. With tea, cake and savouries available, plant sale and more. All in aid of local charities the Charlotte Straker Residential and Nursing Care Home and Corbridge Community Partnership. Come and enjoy a gentle afternoon "village" stroll to see some absolute gems. It all starts at the Corbridge Community Hub in Princes Street where tickets are on sale - cash or card - from 12:45pm on the day with a map and guide then provided. Corbridge Dementia Friends Awareness Session: Wednesday May 13th: Please consider attending this short event at the Corbridge Community Hub in Princes Street at 5:15pm for a 5:30pm start on Wednesday May 13th. To be finished by 7pm.

The Dementia Friends Awareness Session is simple and straightforward. Anyone who wants to understand the basics of dementia in 2026 would benefit from coming along.

Refreshments will be served and participants will receive a Dementia Friends badge at the end of the session.

Everyone is welcome and no booking is required. Just turn up!
