A sit in luncheon & coffee club - meet new friends whilst enjoying good home cooked food. Home delivery service available within a 7 mile radius from Cookstown ( Monday to Sat) Order and collect - phone before 10 am in the morning ( Mon to Sat)

Befriending Service - make friends and have fun! craft , activity

Eeyore sat amidst the golden afternoon light, feeling the warmth of the sun on his face. For a long time, he had focused on the clouds, the rain, and the times his tail had gone missing, but today felt different. He realized that while the hills of the Hundred Acre Wood aren't always easy to climb, and some mornings start with a bit of mist, there is a profound beauty in simply being here to see the sunset. He looked up at the vast, amber sky and whispered a small thanks—not because everything was perfect, but because even in the middle of his gloamiest moments, he found he was surrounded by friends, small kindnesses, and a gentle grace that never let him go. It’s a quiet kind of gratitude, the sort that doesn't need to shout to be felt deep within the heart.

We want to thank Diane our tutor for 10 great weeks in our Ceramics class on a Monday. It was really enjoyed by everyone. Our members made things for home but they’ve also made a display for our wall which is included in the photo. Well done everyone !

Today we had the honour of attending a celebration of the life of Meta Shannon, a devoted member of the CDM Community Transport team for over 20 years.

As one of our Minibus Drivers and a MiDAS Driving Assessor, Meta gave so much of herself to the organisation and to our members through her dedication, care, and professionalism. Her quick wit was a particular favourite and brought joy to all who knew her.

The guard of honour formed by staff spoke volumes about the impact she had on everyone at CDM, and will have a lasting impact on those who were there to honour her.

Though Meta will be sadly missed, her kindness and commitment will remain forever in our hearts.
