Pam hands over our latest public access defib to Isla of Unwined cafe and wine bar in Strathpeffer. The defib will be located at Strathpeffer Sweet Company. Our thanks to Jane Stewart who has done a phenomenal job raising the funds for the defib within the community.

The May episode of Sherry’s Shorts features a story set in Contin! Listen to Phil Baarda’s radio drama set at the burial grounds in Contin, Preas Mairi, along with a second story about Beauly Priory. The episode also has a story set in war-time Strathpeffer & the writer of that story, Lin Treadgold, will be at the Victorian Station in Strathpeffer on 23 May from 10 am for a book signing & talks. Come along to meet Lin, listen along to hear stories set in our local communities.

TRAVELLING IMAGINARIUM
We’re on the lookout for curious individuals (or community groups!) who’d like to dive into a weekend of FREE creative workshops this summer. Whether you love to sing (Join the pop-up choir!) or strum a guitar (Come and share a song!) Explore creative writing and get inspired. Or if you’re someone who prefers getting hands-on and creative, you could join our puppet-making workshops (14+)
So, if you’re keen to connect with other imaginative souls in your area, share ideas, and maybe spark a few new friendships along the way, we would love to hear from you!
