A huge thank you to everyone who supported and joined us for our Afternoon Tea on Sunday! 💙

The hall was buzzing with conversation, filled with cups of tea, laughter, and an incredible selection of delicious homemade cakes.

We're delighted to share that, thanks to your generosity, we raised an amazing £1,400 to support the work of Core Foundations!

We are so grateful for the kindness and support of our local community. Your generosity enables us to continue helping those who need it most. We simply couldn't do what we do without you.

Looking for a peaceful morning to step away from the busyness of the week and spend some time with God?

Join us for our Prayer & Reflection Day this Saturday, 11th July, from 10:00am – 1:00pm. Whether you'd like to join a guided prayer, reflect quietly in the gardens, or simply enjoy a cup of tea and conversation, everyone is warmly welcome.

Programme:

🕥 10:15am – Take Time with Wendy in the Tree House
🕥 10:30am – Guided Prayer Meditation
🕚 11:00am – Praying for Healing with Alan & Jackie Dickinson
🕦 11:30am – Praying Psalm 23 with Eileen

Available throughout the morning:

✝️ Cross of Prayer – Write your own prayer and place it on the cross as an act of giving it to Christ.

🌳 Memory Tree – Tie a ribbon to our Tree of Remembrance in memory of loved ones who are no longer with us.

Our gardens and grounds will have benches and quiet spaces where you can sit, read, pray, or simply enjoy a moment of peace.

☕ Tea, coffee, cake, and a warm welcome will be available throughout the morning.

🌟 Happy Volunteer Week! 🌟

Thank you, and praise God for each and every one of you precious volunteers. 🙏

You are all incredible, and Core Foundations simply could not help the people we support without your dedication, compassion, and servant hearts. You are truly the lifeblood of this charity.

Whether you are befriending tenants, supporting fundraising events, helping prepare homes, praying, encouraging others, or serving behind the scenes, every act of kindness makes a real and lasting difference in someone's life.

As we reflected on Volunteer Week, God brought to mind James 2:26:

"As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead."

You all demonstrate what genuine, living faith looks like. Your faith is not just spoken about—it is lived out through your actions, your generosity, your commitment, and your love for others.

Every home we provide, every life we help empower, and every person who finds hope through Core Foundations is impacted by your willingness to serve.

Praise God for each one of you and for the gifts, talents, and hearts He has given you. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus in our communities.

We are blessed beyond measure to have you as part of the Core Foundations family.

What a truly special and humbling occasion yesterday as our Founder & CEO, Philip Crawford, and Chair of Trustees, Caroline Crawford, attended The King’s Garden Party 🌸👑

Phil received an invitation in recognition of his work within the community through Core Foundations, Community Foundations Church, and the Parish Council.

This was not just recognition for one person, but for everyone connected to Core Foundations — our volunteers, supporters, trustees, church partners, colleagues and friends who work so hard to help bring hope and support to those in need. ❤️

Phil said:
“Wish I could have taken you all, as I know it is the volunteers and colleagues working so hard for everyone we are helping. I pray you will all feel proud that collectively we have been recognised for all the amazing work you are all doing.
Thank-you and praise God, for all glory and honour goes to our Lord and Saviour. Amen.” 🙏😇

We are so grateful for every person who supports the vision of Core Foundations and helps us continue Providing Homes, Empowering Lives.
