We had 17 lads along tonight for Monday Night Football.

A valuable lesson was learnt today... Kev is never allowed to pick teams ever again!

James managed to sneak one past his son Jack in goal, so he wins the father to son bragging rights this week 🤣

Kev was also on the shirts... So he stitched himself completely up 🤣

Before and after tonight's kick about!

16 turned out tonight for what we expected to be a soggy affair 🤣

Thankfully the rain held off and the lads who braved the forecast were rewarded!

It was a close match tonight, with the final score being

Shirts 6 - 5 Bibs

A sneaky handball from Rylee edged it as the clock struck 9pm... We play school yard rules and because the street lights came on we all had to get home sharpish for our tea and a bath, so we agreed to let the goal stand 🤣

Cracking evening filled with laughs, banter, two lads cuddling on the floor after a tackle (they called it jiu-jitsu... I call it enthusiastic cuddling) and the odd scream to put you off 🤣

If you fancy a kick about like you used to when you only had jackets for goal posts... Come along and join the fun 🙂
