Friends Of Congleton Park

I am so pleased that Sandbach Park, Brereton Heath Local Nature Reserve and Congleton Park all achieved Green Flag Awards this year. Congleton Park also achieving the Green Heritage Award.

The Green Flag Award is internationally recognised as being awarded to publicly accessible parks and green spaces that are exceptionally well maintained, clean, safe, and environmentally sustainable. The Green Heritage Award recognises spaces that celebrate and successfully maintain their historical and cultural features.

I am immensely proud of our public spaces, and I want to thank everyone who has put so much time and effort into making our area such a lovely place to live. 🌿🌸

Congratulations and thank you to the tremendous work by our Streetscape team who keep our park looking magnificent all year round. Thanks also to all the volunteer gardeners, who look after several borders & the Just Bee Garden.
