💥💥ROOF UPDATE 💥💥
We sincerely apologise for not sharing any updates with you sooner. We were really looking forward to informing you that the project was complete and the scaffolding would be coming down. Although we are not quite finished yet, we are very close to the end. We want to express our gratitude to George Ferguson and MacDonald for their hard work and dedication that has helped us reach this important stage. 👏
We now need a specialist to install a RESITRIX EPDM to make sure that the stonework is properly waterproofed when we reattach the gutter. This is important because without proper waterproofing, water can seep into the stone and cause damage over time. The RESITRIX EPDM is a strong and durable material that will create a seal to keep water out. Hiring a specialist ensures that the installation is done correctly, giving us peace of mind that our stonework will be well protected from rain and moisture.
We had found a company that seemed perfect for the installation we needed, but unfortunately, they have disappointed us several times by not showing up as promised. Each missed appointment has forced us to look for another option, which is not easy.
There are very few companies that specialize in this type of installation, making our search even more challenging. This situation has caused us delays and added stress, as finding a reliable service takes time and effort.
We are excited to share that we have found a company that has accepted our tender, and now we are just waiting for a start date to complete the roof. This progress brings us one step closer to finishing the project. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has donated and supported us. Your help has been invaluable, and we truly could not have come this far without your generosity and encouragement.
