Are you a young leader working on or thinking about working on the young leader development programme? Then this training is perfect for you!

We are holding an in-person training day as well as a virtual training series where we'll introduce you to the young leader development programme and you'll begin some of the modules. There will be activities to do in your unit to complete the modules but you'll leave the training clear on how to achieve your first 4 modules.

At the latest region awards meeting in July, members were excited to agree a number of nominations. These included Buddy and Anglia Brooch awards as well as some national awards. The national award nominations now get submitted to national in time for their awards meeting in October.

Remember, anyone can nominate someone for an award, you just need to go via your county awards chair for advice and support. For details and forms visit our website via the link in the comments.

The next round of nominations need to be submitted to your county awards chair by November, in time for the last 2026 region awards meeting in December.

Girls IntOpps is now accepting direct applications! 🌍

We’re welcoming direct applications from girls who would like to be considered for an international trip in 2028.

Applications received over the coming weeks will be reviewed as we prepare for our next IntOpps event on Saturday 3 October 2026 at Ely College.

This role supports the smooth day-to-day running of HR processes and provides essential administrative support to the executive team, staff, and volunteers.

You'll be based at our region office and Hautbois Activity Centre, with some home working available, joining a warm, supportive team who love what they do.

Our walking trip is back home after an unforgettable week in the Swiss Alps!

They packed an incredible amount into one week: hiking to the stunning Oeschinensee, mountain tobogganing, gondola rides and a swim in the lake, followed by an International Evening under the chalet stars.

Then came the Chaligang Via Ferrata and zip lines, before their biggest adventure of a two-day Lötschenpass hike with 1,550m of ascent through forest, rough scree and glacier terrain, spending the night in the high-mountain Gfelalp hut.

They had a great week! 💙
