Not just a cafe

There’s more going on behind the counter than just making coffee. ☕️

For some of our residents, working in the café is a chance to get into a routine, chat to customers, learn new things and build their confidence.

It might look like a normal shift, but there’s a lot happening along the way. 💪

Come in and grab a great coffee we pride ourselves on using Exchange Coffee beans and service with extra care

We’ve been brushing up on our coffee-making skills at the Community Café ☕️

Some of our staff and volunteers had a bit of barista training this week, learning how to make a proper coffee and getting plenty of practice in while they were at it.

Safe to say, no one was short of caffeine by the end of the day 😂

You’ll have to pop in and put their new skills to the test!
