A massive thank you to our friends at A Drop in the Ocean Charity Shop for very kindly donating ⭐️ £500 ⭐️ to the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice.

Team members Tenia and Maureen when taking the the Coleraine Methodist church charity shop to collect the cheque from Heather. Thank you so much for your generous donation and supporting the NI Children’s Hospice.

Our lovely ladies at the Hospice Shop in Coleraine are always on the look out for new volunteers.

“We are all very friendly here and we’d happily provide a cup of tea and even run to a biscuit for any helper!!!”

Oh! They are 40!

Our fellow volunteers in The Ballymena NI Hospice Support Group are celebrating 40years of service to the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice and Northern Ireland Hospice. What a milestone! 👏🏻

They are holding a celebration night for their supportive community and we wish them all the best for the event and for the next 40 years!

Mullans Fashions in Portstewart are celebrating 50 years and business!! Congratulations from of us here at the Causeway NI Hospice Support Group.

Geraldine who runs the shop qlso runs a local community group called the Portstewart Knitwits- they recently held a knitting cinema fundraiser in The Playhouse - Portrush. Team members Maureen and Tenia proudly accepted an amazing cheque for ⭐️£1,450 ⭐️ on behalf of the Northern Ireland Hospice from Geraldine and the shop and the group.

Yesterday some of team had a visit to the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice, Maureen would like to share a little Boucher trip there.

“I had a really lovely visit to Children’s Hospice yesterday. Kieran and Grace Stewart, Head of Children’s Hospice Care, took a small group of supporters around the facility.

It was a very moving and interesting experience. It gave me a much greater understanding of the work of NI Hospice and encouraged me to continue doing my best to raise awareness of the charity and to keep going with our fundraising efforts.

350 families benefit from care and support from Children’s Hospice every year. It costs £1700 per day to provide specialist care and respite for one child. “

Thank you to Kieran and the team for allowing us to come and see the amazing work carried out in house; to meet the amazing staff and to see that the service is much needed and that our fundraising efforts in the community help in an amazing way. 💜

Super Cup NI kicked off yesterday in Coleraine, a mostly dry spell of weather for the starting parade.

This year the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice and Northern Ireland Hospice are their charity partners, so if you see us out and about a the games, please do come and say hello. All donations welcomed and appreciated. 💜

We are very grateful to Tullans Junior football team for donning the tabards and representing NI Children’s Hospice.

Coleraine - we need your help!

On Friday 19th June, we're looking for volunteers to give just 2–3 hours of their time to support a bucket collection for Northern Ireland Children's Hospice.

As we celebrate 25 years of caring for local babies, children and families, we're asking our community to help us raise vital funds. As the only Children's Hospice in Northern Ireland, we rely heavily on public support to continue providing our specialist care.
