Some useful information if you don't have a smart phone to apply
🚨 Home Heating Oil Voucher NOW OPEN for applications
To be eligible you must be entitled to a qualifying benefit, or have a household with a net annual income below £30,000 after tax, national insurance or pension contributions.
Vouchers are limited to one per household and
will be available 10 working days after applying. You may also be adked to provide additional evidence, including proof that oil is your main source of heating i.e. a receipt from your oil company.
QUALIFYING BENEFITS INCLUDE
• Pension Credit
• Universal Credit
• Income-related ESA
• Disability Living Allowance
• PIP
• Attendance Allowance

I have previously made clear my frustration at the limitations of this scheme - not only gas customers have been left out in the cold, but because DfC has been so slow to open the scheme ,the value of it has dropped as oil prices have increased and it will be of less benefit to those people who do qualify for the scheme
