The Nelson Family and our Church Family would like to extend our deepest, most heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has surrounded us with love during the homegoing celebration of Overseer Nelson.

To all who sent gifts, messages, prayers, encouraging words, and to everyone who attended the service — your kindness has truly carried us. Your presence, whether near or far, reminded us of the strength of community and the beauty of God’s people standing together. Every hug, every word, every act of support has poured comfort into our hearts.

We hold close one of Overseer Nelson’s favourite scriptures, which continues to uplift us:
“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24
Even in our grief, we rejoice knowing he is resting safely in the arms of the Lord. And we rejoice because of the love you have shown — love that reflects Christ Himself.

💛 Special Thanks

A warm and special thank you to:
- Our pastors, ministers, and leaders who stood by us
- Every friend, family member, and guest who came to honour his life
- Praise and Worship Team
- Musicians Team
- Those who travelled from near and far
- Everyone who served, supported, or helped in any way
- All who sent flowers, cards, messages, and comforting words

Special thanks to Bishop John Francis and Ruach City Church Faith Temple UK Pentecostal City Mission Church Leytonstone Maxine Mitchell Edgar Ezekiel Thompson and Team. What you did for our family — the support, the strength, the love, the way you stood with us — words truly cannot describe. You carried us in ways only God can repay. We thank God for each of you, and we will never forget your kindness.

Our church family who held us up with unity, strength, and love
Your support has been a light in a difficult moment, and we appreciate each of you more than words can express.

May God bless you, comfort you, and surround you with His peace. With love and gratitude, The Nelson Family & Church Family

The family would like to express our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined the online memorial prayer service for our beloved Overseer Nelson.

Your prayers, kind words, messages of encouragement, and presence were a tremendous blessing and brought great comfort to our family. Seeing so many people come together to honour his life and legacy was truly humbling and a beautiful reflection of the countless lives he touched through his faithful service to God.

Although he is deeply missed, we rejoice in the hope we have in Christ. Overseer Nelson's legacy of faith, love, prayer, and unwavering commitment to God will continue to live on through his family, church family, friends, and all those he inspired. By the grace of God, may Christ always remain at the centre of our lives, just as he faithfully taught.

As Overseer Nelson would always say, "Pray, Pray, Pray." Let us continue to honour his legacy by remaining steadfast in prayer, walking in faith, and giving God all the glory.
Thank you all for your love, support, and continued prayers. May God richly bless each and every one of you.

It is with profound sadness that we announce our beloved Shepherd has gone home to be with the Lord.

He was a devoted man of God whose life was a testimony of faith, love, and service. A cherished husband, loving father, proud grandfather, faithful friend, dedicated pastor, wise mentor, and trusted confidant, he touched countless lives with his compassion, strength, and unwavering commitment to Christ. Though our hearts grieve his passing, we rejoice in knowing that he is now in the presence of the Lord whom he faithfully served.

2 Timothy 4:7–8

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing."

We kindly ask that you keep his family, church family, and all who loved him in your prayers during this difficult time. May God grant them comfort, strength, and peace in the days ahead.
