Coalway Kids Club

28/07/2026

Please note an important update about our Kids Club prices from 1st September.

We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported us by voting with the Tesco Blue Tokens. 💙 Thanks to your incredible support, we finished 2nd and have been awarded £1,000! This is fantastic news for our club, and we're so grateful to everyone who took the time to vote.

We're really excited to put the funding to good use, and we hope to share in September exactly what we've been able to buy and improve with your support. Thank you for helping us make a difference for our children and families.

🛠️ CALLING ALL SHEDS, GARAGES & TOOLBOXES! 🛠️

We are building a Kids Club Woodwork / Forest School area, and we’d absolutely LOVE any donations of small tools and materials that could help our little makers, builders and explorers get hands-on outdoors 🌿

We’re looking for things like:
🔩 Screws
🔨 Small hammers
🪛 Screwdrivers
🪚 Hand tools
📏 Tape measures
🧰 Small woodworking tools
🔧 Nails, fixings and bits & bobs

Anything child-friendly, pre-loved or spare would be hugely appreciated.

Everything will be fully supervised by the team, with safety always first, and the resources will help the children build confidence, creativity, practical skills and a love of outdoor learning 🌳

If you have anything you’d like to donate, please just drop it into April and the team at Kids Club.

Thank you for helping us create something really special for the children 💚

Temporary Access Changes (4–13 February 2026)
Important access update for Kids Club parents & carers

As you may already be aware, there will be a temporary change to access arrangements at the Coalway Infant and Junior School site while the planned road closure on Coalway Road and Lords Hill, Coleford is in place.

🗓 Dates:
Wednesday 4 February 2026 – Friday 13 February 2026

🚗 Vehicle access:
During this period, the school site will be closed to all non-staff vehicle traffic as they trial a traffic-free site.

The school has kindly agreed to allow the gates to be open specifically for parents and carers of Kids Club children at the following times:

⏰ Morning drop-off: 07:30 – 08:15
⏰ Afternoon collection: 16:00 – 17:30

🚫 Outside of these times, we kindly ask that only staff vehicles access the site. Kids Club parents and carers should use the foot gate for drop-offs and collections.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding while these temporary arrangements are in place. 🙏

💙 We’re part of Tesco Stronger Starts! 💙

We’re delighted to share that Coalway Kids Club has been chosen as one of the local causes in the Tesco Stronger Starts blue token scheme 🪙

From now until March, every time you shop in a participating Tesco store, you can support us by popping your blue token into the Coalway Kids Club voting box.

The number of tokens we receive helps decide how much grant funding we could get to support our children and the activities we run 🌈

So next time you’re in Tesco:
🪙 Take a blue token
💙 Vote for Coalway Kids Club
✨ Help make a difference in our community

We’d love it if you could share and help us spread the word!

Thank you so much for your continued support — it really does mean the world to us 💙
