At the end of last week, thanks to the kind generosity of a Village Action Group in memory of a local resident, we installed a new external defibrillator box. This means the defibrillator we have on site is now available for public use in an emergency.

We’re very grateful for the support that has helped make this possible and for helping make our community safer.

Over the last few days, I’ve been busy getting some of our 180 new hedgerow saplings into the ground — and I’m happy to say this section is now complete! 🌱

These hedgerows will grow into an amazing wildlife-friendly space while also creating a natural boundary between the Low Ropes and Night Line. It’s exciting to think about how this will look in a few years’ time!

Over the weekend, a group of volunteers helped smash through a huge list of jobs — from sorting and labelling the kitchen cupboards, organising the games in the lounge, and painting two bedrooms and the craft room, to tidying up the pots and flower beds around the house 🌱🎨

We’re so grateful for everyone who gave their time and energy — it’s made such a difference.
