Fingringhoe Wick Nature Discovery Park - EWT Essex Wildlife Trust's first nature reserve (1961). Set on the Colne Estuary, it's a haven for nightingales, saltmarsh and sweeping views.

Did you know we run a drop off day each week during the school holidays?

Wilder Holiday Club runs here on a Wednesday with our Wilder Learning team between 9am and 3pm.

Throughout the day they will spend time in the woods and around Bunkhouse as well as having the opportunity to go for a wildlife wander. Activities include - pond dipping; bug hunting; bushcraft; mud kitchen; den building; natural arts; hammocks; swings; slack lines and much more!

Children will need suitable clothing for being outside all day as well as snacks, drinks and lunch!

Also running in north Essex at Essex Wildlife Trust Abbotts Hall Farm, Abberton Reservoir Nature Discovery Park - EWT and Hanningfield Reservoir Nature Discovery Park - EWT on different weekdays.

Turtle dove, nightingale, cuckoo, green woodpecker, great tit

Oystercatcher, Little egret, curlew, lapwing, knot, shelduck.

Muntjac.
