Help save Arena Essex 🚨

Once a raceway, Arena Essex is now a thriving wildlife haven home to rare bees, butterflies, wildflowers and nightingales. Plans for a Google data centre would destroy over 80% of its valuable habitats, including irreplaceable Thames Terrace Grassland.

Essex Wildlife Trust is supporting Buglife's campaign to protect this special place.

We will be starting to cut the long dry grass on the paths around the reserve to get them short as soon as we can. This will help reduce the risk of a sudden fire. We will ensure no areas have any ground nesting birds before work commences.
