We always have a laugh at our weekly meeting, but this week takes the top spot for the funniest meeting we've ever experienced 🤣

Pat, owner of The Lexden Crown & The Event Catering Co. gave us all a presentation we won't forget...

With the World Cup on our doorstep, Pat ran us through many of the local dishes attributed to each of the World Cup teams. He spoke of fresh seafood, through to the "humble sausage" 😆

We cannot forget to congratulate David Rudd of Steven Burton & Co, for winning the Oscar this week for his 45 seconds, on time, informative and specific.

Mark Wingate of Custom Stitches, AKA Shakespeare made 2 appearances today, once to present and once to be crowned the Chapter Champion!🙌

1️⃣ Mark was able to demonstrate to us how he clothing, the different types of clothing, the materials. He utilised both a video showing the machine, as well as bringing in , backing material, and even a piece of the machine!

2️⃣ Liz of Maxwell Enki was awarded the Oscar this week, for a 45 second that was both bang on time, and specific.

3️⃣ Mark made a return to be crowned chapter champion, for everything he does for the chapter as a whole, and the members individually.

4️⃣ 5️⃣ 6️⃣ Paul and Sean were also thanked for their massive contributions to the chapter, including the most qualified , most passed and visitors invited.

A great job by everyone today - see you all next week.

Another strong week at , with plenty of , referrals and brilliant 45 seconds around the room 🙌

Here’s what went down at this week’s meeting:

1️⃣ We had a fantastic 10 minute presentation from Ibz Fettin of Pest Predators, who gave us a proper insight into the world of pest control, the problems businesses and homeowners face, and how his team help keep properties protected.

2️⃣ Stefanie Livett of Tropic Skincare took home the Oscar this week for the best 45 second presentation.

Every week, our members get the chance to share what they do, educate the room, build stronger relationships and create real opportunities for each other.

This week:

👉 Michael Turner gave an insightful 10 minute presentation about his business, Turner Electrical

👉 Ross Hunt won The Oscar this week for his on time 45 seconds, which came with an unusual introduction request, yet was specific nonetheless (😂)

👉 A big well done & thank you is extended to David Rudd & Paul Jeavons for their 10 and 11 contributions respectively

This week was a busy one, here's what went down:

1️⃣ This month's chapter champion was crowned, Sarah Shalders, for all of the amazing contributions she makes to our chapter.

2️⃣ 3️⃣ 4️⃣ Paul Jeavons & Liz Owers were thanks for their respective contributions, with the most referrals, most visitors and most business generated!

5️⃣ Michael Turner won the Oscar this week for the best 45 seconds... his eyes DEFINITELY weren't closed in the picture 👀

6️⃣ We enjoyed a fantastic 10 minute presentation from Bob Burdett, where he shared his personal story with us, where he started through to where he is now, and how he can help!

3️⃣ Feature Presentation – Thank you to Sean Thompson from True Potential for a great presentation, sharing more about his financial services and how he supports clients planning for the future 💼

March is nearly over… but the momentum at BNI Iceni isn’t slowing down 👏

Here’s what went down this morning:

1️⃣ Mark Wingate (aka Shakespeare) from Custom Stitches took home this week’s Best Pitch Oscar 🏆 - always delivering with style!

2️⃣ Matt Underwood from Onsite IT delivered a brilliant feature presentation, sharing his journey from starting as an apprentice at his school, to becoming IT Manager at that same school, then moving to Onsite IT, working his way up to managing director, and ultimately buying the company to become the owner! A great story of progression and backing yourself 💻

And… there’s a Mexican wave incoming 🌊
