The pneumococcal vaccine protects against serious bacterial infections, including pneumonia, meningitis and sepsis.

It is recommended for people at higher risk of these illnesses, such as babies and adults aged 65 and over.

We will be attending SEND FORWARD next Thursday 10-5, at Marks Tey Village Hall. Come and say hello!

Send Forward Transition event coming up on Thursday 30th January at Marks Tey Parish Hall, this is a great chance to speak to a variety of provisions about what comes after school for those pupils that have a learning disability.
There is lots of parking there!

Transport questionnaire.

I have received this communication regarding accessible buses in our area. It is great to see transport companies taking the initiative, please support them by answering the questionnaire if you are able.

"I am Ella, the marketing executive for Go East Anglia which operates in Norfolk as Konectbus and as Hedingham and chambers in Suffolk and Essex.

We have just launched our accessibility initiative 'Access all Routes' which aims to make every journey accessible for everyone. As we are in the infancy of this initiative we are collecting data from people who use our services to identify ways in which we can make improvements to ensure our services are as accessible as possible. "

Friday 15th November 2024. Rebel Badge 6 - Gingerbread house project and bauble Christmas tree. Today
We stated work on our gingerbread house project - we painted the roof and sides ready to continue decorating in a few weeks. In the afternoon we made our bauble Christmas trees. They are lovely.

Personal Development, Friday 15th November - Colchester Zoo. We had busy but fun day at the zoo exploring and choosing our favourite animals of the day. Obviously had a train ride around and finished the day with a drink and mince pie !

Thursday 14th November 2024. Mercury Patrol RBC4. Today we went to Clacton-on-Sea to play some arcade games. We chose games we hadn't played before as well as familiar ones. After lunch we went to buy some cocktail ingredients ready for our next badge in a couple of weeks. We ended the day with a hot chocolate, cake and chilling with the catering group.

Thurs 14th *EV* The Employability group worked on the importance of keeping the environment clean today, focusing on recycling, responsibly disposing of our rubbish, and litter picking... Great job guys! 😄
