The study found that people living with MS may use substances differently depending on the symptoms they are experiencing, and that some substances may be linked to changes in symptoms such as fatigue, stress or pain.

Researchers say findings like this could encourage people living with MS to reflect on how different substances affect them, and highlight the importance of open conversations with healthcare professionals.
