This Mental Health Awareness Week, we want to remind everyone that talking about mental health matters, and asking for help is a sign of strength 💚
No young person should feel like they have to struggle alone. Reaching out can feel difficult, but support is out there, and conversations really can change lives.
At YES, we offer counselling and wellbeing support for young people aged 11–25 across Colchester and Tendring. Our service provides a safe, respectful and non-judgemental space to talk openly and access support. You can find out more or make a referral here:

If you or someone you know needs additional support, you can also contact:
💚 North East Essex Sanctuary – providing mental health crisis support and a safe space for people who need someone to talk to.
💚 Kooth – free, safe and anonymous online mental wellbeing support for young people.
