A great evening raising funds for our charities

What a lovely evening celebrating the Chinese New Year . Huge thanks to Fai’s restaurant for delicious food .. and huge thanks to all those who supported our event. We raised over £500 for the Children’s Hospice and £240 for the St Anne’s Youth Club.

Our Young Photographer and Young Environmentalist competitions close on 31st January, so there is still time to enter. If you would like an information pack and entry form please email - [email protected]

Colchester Centurion Rotary Club are pleased to be hosting the local heats of the National Rotary Young Photographer and Young Environmentalist competitions, with the theme this year being 'Happiness in Nature'.

The competitions are open to all young people up to the age of 17 and is split into 3 age groups - up to 10, 11-13 and 14-17, with entries submitted online. Our club will be holding their local heat after the closing date, 31st January 2026, with the winning entries then being submitted to the District Finals and those winners going on to the National Finals at the end of April 2026.

Excellent talk by Alan Hilliard this morning representing UK AID … What amazing humanitarian aid they have provided, particularly to Ukraine.
