In the UK, air pollution is measured in μg/m³. We work to National standards, and if air pollution exceeds 40μg/m³ continuously as a mean annual average, an Air Quality Management Area (AQMA) is declared, requiring an Action Plan to reduce pollution.

It may not be as hot as yesterday, but you're still going to get warm.
Drink plenty and ensure you are hydratedl

We have two water stations on the course at (approx) 4.5km and 7.8km where you can grab a bottle from our helpful team of Guides. Please try to throw the empty into the big bags located past the water stations.

Water is also available when you cross the line and there is some limited shade under the trees near the medical tent.
