Join us, Essex Police and Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex on Thursday 16th, 1.00-4.00pm at Stow Maries WWI Aerodrome.
We'll be launching the new Essex Police Rural Crime Strategy with an open event about rural policing. See demonstrations from the Police Drones and Police Dogs, meet the new Rural Team of officers and visit over twenty information stands, showcasing Police and Partners.
Admission is FREE. All are welcome.
(Stands will be indoors, but displays are outside, so please dress warmly).

Have you ever paid a man with a van £10 to take away an old fridge or sofa?
In Loughton recently, a resident was fined £461 and ordered to pay £758 prosecution costs after pleading guilty to failing in his household waste duty of care. He trusted a man who knocked at his door to take this pile of rubbish away for £70 cash, without checking he was a licensed waste carrier. It was then fly-tipped and traced back to the resident.
