ITS A WRAP!

Relay for Life Colchester are pleased to announce our wrap party on Saturday 14th November 2026 7.30pm, at The Grapes Pub Colchester, Mersea Road.

Along with awarding Team Certificates, A Raffle, registration for next years Relay, a buffet & singer plus choosing our theme for next year, We will be announcing & Celebrating the total raised at this years event.

A massive thank you to The Grapes Pub Colchester who are providing our room, buffet & singer for the evening, Sarah Todd.
We are looking forward to having a great evening with you.

What an incredible achievement to everyone who participated in the 2026 Relay! This year was truly unforgettable - radiant skies and warm sunshine replaced the typical rain, but that didn't deter anyone. You all persevered, supported each other, and crushed it! A massive shoutout to the teams for their relentless hard work and dedication to fundraising. Do you have a couple of hours a month to spare? We'd love to hear from you.
Whether you have experience organising events, fundraising, social media, or simply want to make a difference in your community, there's a place for you on our friendly committee.
By volunteering just a little of your time each month, you'll help us organise an amazing event supporting Cancer Research UK and make a real impact.

Wow ! Just absolutely and utterly wow ! Relay For Life Colchester what an amazing 24 hrs !! I have no pictures yet as I didn’t take any so please add any you have in the comments please .
I did a few thank you’s at the end of relay but I forgot a few people so I wanted to correct that , I hope you all understand that it was down to complete and utter exhaustion on my part ( 1.5 hrs sleep in almost 48 hrs ) so a massive thank you goes out to Alan Smith who gave his time both days to take some pictures for us , he does this every year for free and we are incredibly grateful!! Also to Andy (Tonya Russell) who gave his time and his energy and never once complained, in picking up all our stuff from the storage , picking up tables and chairs and then returning it all again on the Sunday morning when he like all of us was already exhausted so thank you 🙏
GabSav's Party Hire for coming along with the fab bouncy castles and for offering a free bouncy castle hire for our raffle !
To all the incredible businesses and individuals who donated some incredible prizes for our raffle .
To the rotary club for manning our registration and raffle stall and for manning the gates thank you so very much .
Also just a shout out and thank you to our incredible line up of entertainment, you were all absolutely phenomenal thank you 🙏

💜 The countdown is almost over... Relay For Life Colchester is tomorrow! 💜
Before we come together at the Garrison Athletics Track, Abbey Field, we want to take a moment to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has helped make this event possible.
