This morning our Army Benevolent Fund Bedfordshire Treasurer, Andrew is setting off on the Frontline Walk and we wish him the very best of luck! 👏🏻

Andrew says “I'm taking part in the Frontline Walk: The Western Front. I'll be trekking 100km following in the footsteps of those who fought on the Somme and Passchendaele battlefields during the First World War

I'll be doing this to commemorate the sacrifices made by those who fought in WWI whilst helping to support the soldiers and veterans of today

It will be a physically and emotionally tough challenge, but I'm doing it all for a great cause: Army Benevolent Fund, the National Charity of the British Army. They support soldiers, veterans and their families when they need it most.

Please cheer me on by making a donation towards my target”

What a pleasure it was to spend time at Gurkha Home in Colchester today, invited so kindly by the Colchester Nepalese Society.

We were welcomed with such warmth and given a lovely tour of the home, learning so much about the incredible work the Society does for the community. And the traditional curry we were treated to — absolutely delicious, and shared with such generosity.

A lovely visit, full of culture, kindness and connection.
