These reports are helping maternity services across the country strengthen the care they provide. This includes placing greater emphasis on:

Listening to you and taking your concerns seriously

Involving you in decisions about your care

Providing personalised care that reflects your individual needs and preferences

Improving communication between healthcare professionals

Learning from feedback and experiences to continually improve services.

As your independent local MNVP, we work in partnership with families, maternity services, and NHS organisations to ensure the voices and experiences of women, birthing people, partners, and families help shape local maternity care. We gather feedback—both positive experiences and areas where care could be improved—and use this to influence meaningful change.
