Diesel Unit Preservation Association Ltd A small group of DMU enthuiasts set out to help preserve the first generation DMU's. D**A had purchased and sold a number of DMU's over the years.

The official page for the Diesel Unit Preservation Association Ltd (D**A) setup in the late 90's who own a small fleet of Class 101 and 108 DMU's at preserved railways across the country. D**A's home railway is the East Anglian Railway Museum in Colchester, Essex. Not all owned DMU's are based at the EARM on space limitations, so the rest of the fleet are on long term hire at the Ecclesbourne Vall

ey Railway and the Llangollen Railway where they see regular service and earn D**A income which goes towards the ongoing preservation of the fleet vehicles. D**A's current fleet includes:

- Class 101 DTCL 56358 (East Anglian Railway Museum)
- Class 101 DMCL 51505 (Ecclesbourne Valley Railway)
- Class 108 DMBS 50599 *Pioneer Vehicle* (Ecclesbourne Valley Railway)
- Class 108 DTCL 56223 (Llangollen Railway)

Previously owned vehicles:
- Class 101 DTCL 56365 (stripped for parts and scrapped)
