Day 2 of The Suffolk Show and Trinity Park is buzzing with excitement already.

Come and meet the ponies, Peg and Bruno, and pick yourself up some ally merch at the charity stand in the military village. You could even bag yourself your own teddy Peg to take home!

The weather is looking glorious for this year’s Suffolk Show.

If you’re heading to the show this year, do stop by the military village to say hello to the team. We will have a wide selection of merch available to buy to show your support, as well as a selection of deactivated weapons for you to look at and learn more about life in the reg.

Regimental mascots, Pegasus and Bruneval, will also be with us for you to meet.

It was a great day for a garden party yesterday, as some of our staff and Beacons joined over 2,000 veterans in the gardens of Buckingham Palace. The event, which was hosted by HRH The Princess Royal, was honouring and celebrating all those who have served their country and saw veterans in attendance ranging in age from their 20s to those over 100.

They were joined by several veterans from The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces, including Jon Noble, who we have supported over the years. It was our honour and privilege to also have in attendance some Next of Kin from our Regimental Roll of Honour.

Our thanks go to our friends at The Not Forgotten for giving us the opportunity to celebrate this special day with them.

A huge well done to Ronnie, who took on the Colchester Stampede last weekend to raise money for SUPPORT OUR PARAS, completing the course in an impressive 41:26!

Ronnie said: “I want to fundraise for SUPPORT OUR PARAS because they have helped my dad through difficult times and have been incredibly supportive. I want to play my part and support them too.”

Funding has recently been given to establish a 2 PARA Sports Parachuting Team, enhancing the physical fitness, morale, and professional development of our soldiers.

This team provides soldiers with the opportunities to gain parachuting licences and qualifications, as well as supporting the development of courage and confidence in their core role within battalion.

The team recently competed at the British Skydiving Accuracy Grand Prix and secured one gold and two silver medals across the Novice and Intermediate categories 🥇🥈🥈

Regimental Efficiency is one of our main charitable objects, where we provide grants to Para Reg units and individuals to support initiatives just like this one and your donations make this possible.

A great night in Aldershot last night, as 3 PARA secured a 6-3 win against 2 RIFLES in the Army Inter Unit Boxing Finals.

Even better to see the team showcasing SUPPORT OUR PARAS in the ring, in recognition of the funding we provide to the team.
